Need to updated your rooted OnePlus 6 to latest OTA and keep root?
Basically, you need to flash the latest OxygenOS v5.1.6 in TWRP recovery then flash Magisk zip file and reboot.
Step 1. Download the latest OTA update and copy to your OnePlus 6.
You can use the following OxygenOS v5.1.6 OTA:
Download OxygenOS v5.1.6 OTA – Link
Step 2. Boot into TWRP recovery.
Step 3. Flash the OxygenOS using Install menu, no wipe needed!!!
Step 4. Flash Magisk when done and reboot. Profit!
You can also use this method for any future OTA updates.
